Reasons I recommend this book:
I first heard of Battle on the Home Front while watching the morning news. Mr. Higbie was on Fox news and the interview struck me with great emotion. Here before me was a true hero who was obviously passionate about his country and returned home to find chaos and a country full of “entitlement”. I enjoy reading about people, great people. So I downloaded the book to my Kindle and couldn’t put it down. Mr. Higbie explains his youth, how he was raised and how he became part of America’s elite military. I’m impressed by Mr. Higbie’s desire to serve and make a difference. I’m more impressed that a young man is honest about his past and his future. He admits to mistakes and owns them responsibly. How refreshing! If only all Americans could be responsible for all their actions.
Mr. Higbie touches on a variety of issues emphasizing the facts properly but didn’t dwell on any one item too long. Touch and go. He quickly explains the problem from his perspective and offers a recommendation to fix the problems here at home. While reading, it makes one ponder what more can I do? I vote, I live an honest life but is that enough?
Our morals are slipping and we’re becoming numb to the chaos here at home. When does it stop?

Born Free — Taxed to Death!

Carl tells the truth about problems that Americans should be pounding on the governments front door. Wake up America — we’re under attack! Not from Terrorist but from our own elected officials we put into office. If we don't get control of our borders, rest assured this country is a receipt for disaster.
Why should anybody get a service for free in this country? Nothing is free. Get off your butt, pick up a shovel and get to work like the rest of us. Carl is spot on with his view that people coming into this country should abide by the rules or ship out. Try visiting to other countries and see if they speak english. Why the hell do I need to speak another country's language?
Thousands of American troops come home with severe life changing injuries while protecting the rights provided by our country's forefathers. We as Americans owe it to our troops to take care of them after they lost a leg for our freedoms.
America please put on your Big Boy Pants and help this country regain it's brilliance.
