I met Rena about 25 years ago in Green Bay WI,at a Mary Kay function, she was then, not only an inspiration, but a child of God and still is today. Her attitude, and faith in God, is the big reason she is here to encourage everyone that hears her voice and reads her books. She is a rock and I wish everyone had her strength and courage and hope.

I have known Rena Tarbet for nearly 27 years while I have been a Mary Kay consultant. She bounces back from each setback--she is amazing. One time I went behind stage (which is never allowed) to hand her a note. I had to hand it to one of the security people. She sent me a handwritten note a few weeks later--she is an inspiration to so many folks who are fighting cancer.

I am a colon cancer surviver and have been receiving treatment at the Rena Tarbet Cancer Center where I met Rena. Regardless of how bad a day she was having, she always had a smile and something positive to share. Rena has been a real inspiration to everyone battling this dreaded desease. I last talked to her in July and purchased her book. Rena's story of her struggles where very relatable to those of us who are fighting the battle. Her book is a must read for EVERYONE. May our LORD continue to bless Rena always.

This book is just the right size for an inspiring quick read! I gave a copy of the book to two of my friends so far! I highly recommend this book not only for breast cancer survivors, but also the friends and family of breast cancer survivors as it details the inner struggles day to day!

After helping my husband navigate thousands of our patients through the journey of breast cancer, it was my turn. How could I take on anything other than a stance of VICTOR over VICTIM after Rena Tarbet's example and inspiring story, 37 years of chemo. I always want to tell patient there is only one thing you can control, your attitude. Only 44 pages and the best resource we could ever offer our patients and their families. Thank you Rena Tarbet for doing this! You will heal so many people before they ever begin treatment. I pray they cling to your philosophies, as I do, and use this bump in the road to lift them higher than they ever thought was possible. INSPIRING! Want all of our patients to have this!

Physicians across the country are taking a deep breath of relief because they now have something very special to hand to a patient who just received "the report" from a breast imaging specialist, general surgeon, oncologist, or reconstructive surgeon! Before you go on the internet (bad) to learn about what all the medical terminology means, you should get your mind, spirit, and heart in the right place so the physical healing can begin. A much needed resource! Attitude is EVERYTHING!

Nobody tells it with more experience than Rena Tarbet. What an inspiration. This book is so timely and every woman deserves to get it the same day she gets her diagnosis.
